Today, Hengli Heavy Industry declaried that In the first quarter of 2026, Hengli Heavy Industry opened a new situation with a strong momentum of development, signing a total of 108 new shipbuilding projects and delivering 14 ships, demonstrating the hard core strength of China's shipbuilding industry with solid performance and setting the best performance in the same period in history. Among the 108 newbuilding orders signed in the first quarter, the tanker sector performed particularly well, with a total of 76 ships, covering:

▶ 54 very large oil tankers (VLCCs);

▶ 18 Suez-type tankers;

▶ 4 LRII product tankers.

In addition, Hengli Heavy Industry has also gained a lot in other ship types: 12 container ships, 16 bulk carriers, and 4 low-temperature ships, and the order structure shows diversified and high-end characteristics, which fully reflects the high recognition of Hengli Heavy Industry's construction capabilities by global shipowners.
