Ge Haijiao Meets with Chee Hong Tat, Minister for National Development of Singapore and Deputy Chairman of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and Peter Tan , Singapore's Ambassador to the People's Republic of China
On April 14, Ge Haijiao, Chairman of Bank of China Limited, met with Chee Hong Tat, Minister for National Development of Singapore and Deputy Chairman of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and Peter Tan, Singapore's Ambassador to the People's Republic of China, at the Bank's Head Office in Beijing. They held in-depth discussions on key topics including deepening China-Singapore economic and trade cooperation, promoting the international use of RMB, and advancing infrastructure financing.
Both parties agreed that China-Singapore cooperation enjoys a strong foundation and holds vast potential for the future. As Bank of China marks the 90th anniversary of its operations in Singapore this year, the two sides will further strengthen practical cooperation in capital markets, infrastructure, and more areas. They will actively explore innovative financial service models, support two-way exchanges between enterprises of the two countries, share market opportunities, and jointly usher in a new chapter of high-quality cooperation.
