◉Report Summaries:Commercial shipping is accelerating its transition toward decarbonization and low-carbon operations. This speech systematically examines decarbonization strategies for maritime transport, highlighting that the industry is achieving short-term emission reductions through enhanced energy efficiency and fleet retrofitting, while mid-term efforts focus on the development of zero-carbon fuels and supporting port infrastructure. Drawing on life cycle assessment and multi-scenario modeling, the report further explores a long-term governance framework for the harmonization of international standards. This study aims to provide a scientific foundation for shipping companies to develop transition roadmaps and for governments to optimize regulatory frameworks, thereby facilitating the global maritime sector's steady transition to net-zero emissions.

◉Introduction:As a Professor-Senior Engineer, he has long been engaged in container terminal operation and management, technical research and development, as well as intelligent construction. He has presided over and participated in a number of major projects, including the construction and operation of the Phase IV project of Yangshan Deep-Water Port, the independent research and development and upgrading of the intelligent control system, and the construction of the port-wide digital twin intelligent operation hub. ◉Report Summaries:In response to the impact of wave breaking on the sea surface flow field in ship navigation environments, an experimental study on the characteristics of breaking wave flow fields was conducted. The relationship between wave breaking characteristics and wave parameters was explored, and a laboratory method for generating controllable breaking waves was developed. The evolution characteristics of wave parameters after breaking were discussed and quantified, establishing a quantitative relationship between the energy loss rate of breaking waves and wave parameters. Using the energy loss rate of breaking waves as an intermediate parameter, a quantitative relationship was established between the horizontal velocity distribution of the flow field, the transport of vortex structures, and wave characteristic parameters after wave breaking, thereby explicitly quantifying the impact of wave breaking on the sea surface flow field for ship navigation.

Recipient of the Shanghai May 1st Labor Medal. As a project leader, has participated in numerous key national, ministerial, and COSCO Shipping Group research and engineering projects. ◉Report Summaries:Taking the "ShipView" system as a representative case, this study focuses on strengthening the data foundation of next-generation maritime systems by constructing a multi-source integrated data infrastructure centered on global AIS vessel data. By integrating big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence, an intelligent maritime situational awareness and decision-support system is established. The system supports maritime supervision, navigation safety, and fleet operations, effectively enhancing supply chain resilience and governance capacity. In practice, the platform aggregates data from 250,000 vessels, develops 16 digital products, and serves over 2,000 clients, generating significant economic and social benefits with strong scalability and replicability.

◉Introduction:Dr., Deputy Director of the Committee of Waterborne Transportation, China Association for Engineering Construction Standardization, has long been engaged in strategic planning of waterways and research on digital-intelligent waterway systems. He has completed six industry standards related to digital-intelligent waterways and publicly published over 20 academic papers. He was awarded Outstanding CPC Member, Advanced Science and Technology Worker, and the First Individual Science and Technology Contribution Award by the Yangtze River Administration of the Ministry of Transport. ◉Introduction:Zhang Guoqing is a professor at Dalian Maritime University, a National Outstanding Youth Fund recipient, and the director of the National Key Laboratory of Waterway Traffic Control (Dalian). He has long been engaged in research in the fields of intelligent navigation of ships and intelligent maritime support. He has presided over more than 10 projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Youth Top Talent Program of Liaoning Province's "XingLiao Talent Program". He has published over 150 papers and authored 4 monographs. He has been granted 31 national invention patents and has received multiple scientific and technological awards, including the Second Prize of Natural Science of the Ministry of Education and the First Prize of Innovation Achievements of the China Association of Industry-University-Research Cooperation.

◉专家简介:上海交通大学船舶海洋与建筑工程学院教授。分别于清华大学和新加坡国立大学获得学士和博士学位。专注于大规模组合优化、整数规划和网络优化等运筹优化方法在交通和物流系统中的应用研究。主持5项国家自然科学基金项目以及中远海运集团、中国船舶集团708研究所等企业实践项目。入选交通部交通运输青年科技英才、上海市启明星计划。
◉Introduction:Dr. Jiangang Jin is a Professor of the School of Ocean & Civil Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. He received the Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Tsinghua University in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree in civil and environmental engineering from the National University of Singapore in 2013. His research interests lie in the application of large-scale modeling and optimization to transportation and logistics systems, such as container port operations, public transportation system optimization. He received the National Excellent Young Scholars Award of National Natural Science Foundation of China, the First Price of INFORMS RAS Problem Solving Competition. He has published more than 50 referred papers in international journals and conferences, such as Transportation Science, Transportation Research Part B/C/E. He is serving as Area Editor for the journal of Computers & Industrial Engineering.

◉Report:Techno-economic Optimization for Containership Green Transition under Net-Zero Emission Target: A Predict-then-Optimize Framework
◉报告精华:本研究构建了一个航运绿色能源转型的两阶段预测与优化框架,以实现船队脱碳过程中排放与成本的最小化。该框架包含两个核心模块:一是基于历史运营数据校准的船舶油耗预测模型,用于精准预估排放水平;二是集成航速优化、技术维护、替代燃料转型及双燃料改造决策的优化模型,以策略性组合多种减排手段。在满足CII法规及净零目标前提下,模型可实现全生命周期成本最小化。
◉Report Summaries:This study develops a two-stage forecasting and optimization framework for the green energy transition of shipping, aiming to minimize both emissions and costs in fleet decarbonization. The framework consists of two core modules: (1) a ship fuel consumption forecasting model calibrated using historical operational data (including speed, engine load, maintenance records, and environmental conditions) to accurately estimate emission levels under various scenarios; and (2) an optimization model integrating speed optimization, technical maintenance, alternative fuel transition, and dual-fuel engine retrofitting decisions to strategically combine multiple emission reduction measures. Under the constraints of CII regulations and net-zero targets, the proposed theoretical approach minimizes life-cycle costs, including fuel expenses, maintenance costs, capital investment for retrofits, and potential carbon pricing.

◉专家简介:上海海事大学交通运输学院教授。中国交通运输协会青年科技工作者工作委员会委员,《中国安全科学学报》《交通安全与环境(英文)》等期刊青年编委。主要从事北极航运系统风险防控与韧性提升研究,主持国家自然科学基金面上项目、上海市启明星计划等科研项目10余项,入选上海市东方英才计划(青年项目)。在国内外核心期刊上发表论文80余篇,获中国航海青年科技奖、中国造船工程学会科学进步奖等荣誉。
◉Introduction:Fu Shanshan is a professor and College of Transport and Communications, Shanghai Maritime University. She is a member of the Youth Science and Technology Workers Committee of the China Association of Transport, and a young associate editor of journals such as the China Safety Science Journal and Traffic Safety and Environment (English). Her research mainly focuses on risk prevention and control and resilience enhancement of Arctic shipping. She has led over 10 research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Shanghai Rising Star Program, and has been selected for the Shanghai Oriental Talent Program (Youth Project). She has published over 80 papers in international and domestic journals and has received honors such as the China Navigation Youth Science and Technology Award and the Scientific Progress Award of the China Shipbuilding Industry Society.

◉报告精华:本研究以北极水域海事事故数据、海洋水文数据为基础,采用人为因素分析与分类系统、面向对象的贝叶斯网络模型等方法,挖掘北极海冰环境、船员不安全行为、船舶运行状态与航行事故类型(搁浅、冰困等)之间复杂映射关系,构建气象条件-海冰状况-船员不安全行为-船舶运行状态-航行事故类型多层网络模型,揭示搁浅、冰困等北极冰区船舶航行典型事故形成机理,为北极航道冰区航行船舶事故防控提供理论基础和技术支撑。
◉Report Summaries:This study uses the Human Factors Analysis and Classification System (HFACS), Object-Oriented Bayesian Network (OOBN) models, and other methods to explore the complex mapping relationships among the Arctic sea ice environment, unsafe acts of seafarers, ship operational status, and shipping accident types (including grounding, icebound, and icebreaker-merchant vessel collisions). A multi-layer network model of Metocean conditions, sea ice conditions, unsafe acts of seafarers, ship operational status, and shipping accident types is constructed to reveal the causal mechanisms of typical shipping accidents in ice-covered Arctic waters, such as grounding, icebound, and icebreaker-merchant vessel collisions. This study provides a theoretical foundation and technical support for the prevention and control of shipping accidents in ice-covered Arctic waters.

◉专家简介:武汉理工大学水路交通控制全国重点实验室/智能交通系统研究中心装备所副所长,副研究员。主要研究方向为港口与船舶场景特种机器人技术的研发及产业化应用。主持国家自然科学基金、国家重点研发计划子课题等国家级、省部级项目7项;入选中国科协青年人才托举工程;研发的散货船清舱机器人、足式船舶巡检机器人、涂装机器人等已成功应用于中远海运、招商局船舶工业、招商局港口等行业龙头企业。
◉Introduction:Associate Researcher, Doctoral Supervisor, currently serves as Deputy Director of the Equipment Institute at the National Key Laboratory of Waterway Traffic Control/Intelligent Transportation System Research Center, Wuhan University of Technology. His main research focus is on the R&D and industrial application of special robot technologies for port and ship scenarios.As the principal investigator, he has including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and sub-projects of the National Key R&D Program. He was selected into the Young Talent Support Program of the China Association for Science and Technology. His research achievements won the Second Prize of the Guangdong Mechanical Engineering Society. A variety of special robots developed under his leadership, such as bulk carrier hold cleaning robots, legged ship inspection robots, and painting robots, have been successfully applied to leading industry enterprises including COSCO Shipping, China Merchants Shipbuilding Industry Group, China Merchants Port Group, and Jiangsu Port Group.

◉Report Summaries:The development of robots for ship is a critical pathway to address these challenges and build a new-generation shipping system. This report first outlines the development background and international research progress of the robot systems for ship, analyzing their application scenarios across the entire lifecycle of ships; it then systematically categorizes the equipment spectrum of the robot systems for ship, proposes the "ship-robot-shore-cloud" integrated design paradigm, and thoroughly examines the core key technologies; meanwhile, it presents the research and development practices of the team on typical systems such as bulk carrier cargo hold clearing robots, sandblasting robots, and embodied intelligent inspection robots; finally, it offers reflections and future prospects for the development of the robot systems for ship, driving the shipping industry toward safer, more efficient, and intelligent transformation through technological innovation.

◉Introduction:Liu Kezhong, chief professor, Dean , School of Navigation Wuhan University of Technology. Leader of innovation team in key areas of transportation industry, project leader of innovation group of Hubei Natural Science Foundation. He presided over 5 National Natural Science Foundation projects, including 1 key project, 1 national key research and development plan project, and 1 major technological innovation project of Hubei Province.
